What One Man Can Do is Powerful. What Many Masons Can Do Is Incredible.

Written by Brother Crosse | Apr 10, 2025 7:01:36 PM

There are moments when a man wonders if all the small things he does—donating, lending a hand, standing in the gap—really make a difference.

And here’s the truth you need to hear today:

They do.

But there’s more...See, on your own, you can make an impact. You can change one person’s day, or maybe even their life. But something happens when your hand joins with the hands of other Brothers committed to a mission greater than themselves. Something happens when your act of service gets amplified by the hundreds, by the thousands, and even by generations of men and Masons who came before you.

That’s not just service.
That’s power.
That’s Brotherhood.
That’s Freemasonry.

When We Come Together, We Don’t Just Multiply Our Impact. We Reveal the Grand Design

There are stories you’ll never hear.
Deeds no one will thank you for.
But they were seen. And they mattered.

If you’ve ever stayed late at Lodge to clean up after a meeting…
If you’ve ever helped a Brother move his furniture…
If you’ve ever dropped off a meal for a widow or gave a few extra dollars for a charitable cause…

You’ve already been a part of something far greater than you thought.

Your action—small and unseen—was recorded in the logbooks of the Grand Design. When you became a Mason, you didn’t just sign up for community. You signed up to be able to amplify your purpose. The world didn’t just gain one man trying to do good—it gained one Brother linked to thousands of other Brothers, all striving to live honorably and serve others.

The Parades Aren't Outdated. They’re a Call to the Men Watching from the Sidelines

We’ve heard it before, and even I've been guilty of this!

"Parades aren’t my thing."
"They’re not cool anymore."
"It’s not my style."

But when did the mission become about our personal preferences?

There’s a reason our presence on Main Street matters. A reason we wear our suits and those aprons and stand in formation under the banner of our Grand Lodge.

It’s because someone’s watching.

  • A young man, unsure where to turn next.
  • A father who’s been trying to do it all alone.
  • A veteran who feels disconnected and unseen.
  • A man with good in his heart, but no help to amplify his impact.

And then he sees us—shoulder to shoulder, marching in step, a reminder for where he needs to be.

  • He doesn’t need another slogan.
  • He doesn’t need another pitch.
  • He just needs to know we’re here. That there is still a place for men who care, who serve, who build something that lasts.

April 19th Is a Day for All Masons to Rise

A few days from now, the Brethren in Massachusetts will once again have the chance to answer the call. The largest and most visible parade event in recent Masonic history is not just a celebration—it’s a moment of revival for the call of the Workmen.

Older Brethren who remember what this Brotherhood means—stand up.
Younger Brethren still finding your place—stand with us.

Don't forget that your work, your good deeds, matter to the Grand Design and there's someone who NEEDS to see you there! 🙏

We are marching for something bigger than ourselves. Bigger than our Lodge. Bigger than even than Massachusetts Freemasonry.

We are marching to remind the world that when good men come together, guided by the Grand Architect, their work has GREAT meaning and IMPACT.

This Isn’t About Optics, It’s About Realignment

To those who feel discouraged: He sees you.
To those who feel unseen: your work is not forgotten.
To those who feel unsure of their place: walk with us. Learn with us. And grow with us.

This is our moment to remind ourselves—and the men watching from the curb that there's a place where their good work matters too. That there's a group of men, just like them, that have found the secret to truly having a greater impact through a common goal.

We’re asking for their presence.
We’re asking for them to join us in unity.
We’re asking for Brethren to join the call and help each other have a greater impact.

So, What Will You Do?

It's ok if you can't attend. But if your cable tow allows, why would you want to be anywhere else?

Your Lodge will be there. Your Brothers will be there.

  • Will you march?
  • Forget the pomp and circumstance! Will you help to show the world what Masonry really is?
  • Will you be the reason one more man on the sidelines decides it’s time to stop striving alone?

This is the mission. This is the moment. We need you.

So Mote It Be.
